1. The Coaching Relationship

The Coach is a Life Coach working to facilitate the Client's goals through conversation and discovery. The Client understands that coaching is not therapy, counselling, or medical advice.

2. Professional Boundaries & Liability

Responsibility: The Client is responsible for their own well-being and any decisions made during or after sessions.

Limitation of Liability: The Coach's total liability shall be limited to the extent of their Professional Indemnity insurance cover.

Insurance: The Coach holds Professional & Public Liability insurance with a £4 million cover limit, underwritten by Zurich.

3. Premises & Safety

Assumption of Risk: Where sessions take place at the Coach's private property, the Client agrees to take reasonable care for their own safety.

Liability Limitation: The Coach shall not be held responsible for accidental injury on the premises, except where caused by the Coach's proven negligence.

4. Logistics & Cancellations

Sessions: — via video call or in person, as jointly agreed.

Cancellations: Wherever possible, please provide at least 24 hours' notice for rescheduling.

5. Privacy Notice

Information Collected: Contact details, emergency contact, session notes, and sensitive data shared during sessions.

Confidentiality: Data is kept confidential. Anonymised summaries may be shared with a supervisor or training provider.

Breaking Confidentiality: Confidentiality will only be broken if there is a risk of serious harm to you or others, or if legally required.

Storage & Retention: Digital files are encrypted and password-protected. Data is kept for 2 years after the final session, then permanently destroyed.

Your Rights: Under UK law, you have the right to request copies of your data or ask for corrections or erasure.
